LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES

ASSIST HEADLIGHT

BULB REPLACEMENT

Remove the screw.

HOSE

Release the four tabs of the assist headlight upper

UPPER COVER

TABS

cover from the slits in the front and lower covers.

Disconnect the breather joint hose from the upper

cover and remove the cover.

SCREW

SLITS

Disconnect the assist headlight connector.

BULB

Remove the retaining ring by turning it counter-

clockwise and remove the bulb from the headlight.

Install a new bulb and removed parts in the reverse

RETAINING RING

order of removal.

HEADLIGHT

CONNECTOR

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the assist headlight bulb 

(page 22-4).

NUTS

HEADLIGHT

Remove the two trim clips, 8 mm nuts and the assist

SOCKET

FRONT COVER

headlight/meter bracket from the steering shaft.

BOLTS

Remove the two tapping screws, trim clips and the

headlight lower cover from the bracket.

Remove the two socket bolts and assist headlight/

front cover from the bracket.

Install the headlight/front cover and removed parts

in the reverse order of removal.

TORQUE: 8 mm nut: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft)
