Chapter 4: Commissioning

Beginning therapy

1. Put on the mask.
2. Press the on/off key. If the mask test and soft start are not enabled, therapy begins

with the set therapeutic pressure.

3. If the mask test is enabled, the device starts with the set max. therapeutic pressure

for the set time (0 – 90 s). In this time, make sure the mask is positioned properly
to prevent leaks. If soft start is not enabled, therapy begins with the set therapeu-
tic pressure.

4. If soft start is enabled, the pressure increases gradually in the set time from the Soft

Start Init. Pressure to the prescribed therapeutic pressure.

Please note:

The mask test and soft start can be cancelled by pressing the on/off key.

Next, therapy begins with the set therapy pressure.
