Keyboard Operation in CW
With a keyboard attached to the IQ32 you may send CW / Morse Code directly from the key-
board using all the standard alpha numeric characters and punctuation available in Morse
Code. With the keyboard functions keys,

, which were configured in the

, you will transmit the previously configured strings, such as:

<Rx>.
The characters you have typed or initiated from a function
key are displayed directly above the TX frequency. The characters scroll to the left as they are
sent.
The keyboard is also used to enter the calling station’s call sign and the operator’s name as
shown in Figure 63. These are associated with the Tags
<StnCS>
and
<StnNM>
which are
used with the keyboard function keys.
By touching each of these buttons, you
will be able to enter the desired infor-
mation on the screen.
