Settings Screens
The
Setting
widget, Figure 17, is visible on
any of the
H
OME
S
CREENS
, and on the
S
ET-
TINGS
S
CREEN
.
Like the
Mode
widget, it is both a status indi-
cator and a touch region. The top of the
widget reminds you of its function (Setting).
The middle portion tells you which Setting is
selected. The lower portion displays the cur-
rent value of the selected Setting. In Figure
18, the AF Gain Setting is selected, and its
current setting is 52. You can adjust the value
of the currently displayed setting with the left rotary encoder, increasing the value by rotating it
clockwise or decreasing the value by rotating it counterclockwise.
From the
H
OME
S
CREEN
, touching the
Setting
widget, Figure 17 brings you
to the
S
ETTINGS
S
CREEN
, Figure 18.
There are eight buttons on the left
side which go directly to settings
whose values can be set with the left
rotary encoder.
The four buttons on the right take
you to sub-screens of the
S
ETTINGS
S
CREEN
for functions that you will not
need to change nearly as often.
With the eight most common settings,
the rotation of the left rotary encoder
causes the value to change immedi-
ately and the numeric value of the
option to be displayed in the lower
part of the
Setting
widget. These values are saved in the non-volatile memory.
Touch the appropriate button to select the function to adjust. You will be returned to the
H
OME
S
CREEN
. The
Setting
widget will display the function you have selected and the current value.
You can adjust the value with the left rotary encoder knob. The new setting takes effect imme-
diately.
Mode selection may also be accomplished by pressing, rotating to the desired parameter and
releasing the left rotary encoder.
