(8) Hold the main unit connector so that the tenon-like convex
shape portion on the connector will turn to the direction
“downside being
”. Plug the main unit connector fully into the
connector on the Auto Sipper (Fig. 1-25). If unable to plug,
check again the connection orientation of the connector shown
in Fig. 1-17, and then plug.

NOTICE:
In handling the connector, absolutely do not touch the
connector contacts with bare hands. Touching with bare
hands invites poor contact, which is a cause of failure.
(9) Fix the Auto Sipper guide screws to the locating holes on the
sample compartment of the main unit, while aligning the incision
on the coupling shaft of the sample compartment with the Auto
Sipper driving shaft. In this operation, pay attention not to pinch
the cables by the Auto Sipper.
NOTICE:
Store the connection cables in a non-reserved space at
the back of the sample compartment to prevent them
from being pinched between the main unit and the Auto
Sipper. If pinched, wire break may occur in the cables.
