3 OPERATION
3.1 Preparation
(1) Check that the power of the spectrophotometer is turned off, and
that the Auto Sipper is correctly mounted in accordance with the
procedure described in Chapter 1.
(2) Set the peristaltic tube correctly in accordance with the
procedure described in Section 2.2.3 Setting Peristaltic Tube.
After setting the peristaltic tube, close the cover of the sample
compartment.
NOTE:
Be sure to close the cover of the sample compartment
when using the Auto Sipper. Otherwise, correct
measurement results may not be obtained.
CAUTION
Injury due to Entanglement
Hands or hair could be entangled in the peristaltic
pump. Be sure to close the cover of the sample
compartment when operating the Auto Sipper.
(3) The sipped sample is discharged into the drain tube as waste
fluid. Prepare a drain tank to put the waste fluid and set the drain
tube on the drain tank.
