Removal and Assembly of Fan Motor 
Important: Before removing the fan, make sure 

the 

power 

is off

1. Unplug the motor

cables

Use screwdriver to remove the electric 
box cover and unplug the motor cables 
in electric box. 

2. Remove the base

board

Loose

n

 and take out the screws fixing 

the base board, then remove the base 
board. 

3. Remove the screws on

fan sub-assembly.

Remove the screws on fan 
sub-assembly. 

4. Removing the fan cage

enclosure

Rotate the fan cage housing toward 
supply opening and remove. 

5. Loosen the fan

,

crosshead and motor.

Use a hex wrench to loosen the screws 
holding the fan cage to the motor shaft, 
and the screws holding the crosshead 
to the motor shaft. Remove outer 
housing holding motor in place. 

6. Replace the motor

Remove the motor from the support 
bracket. Then remove the fan cages 
from the motor shafts. Remove the 
motor from the air inlet and replace with 
new motor. Be sure to tighten the cages 
onto the motor shafts. 

7. Reassembly of the unit

Reassemble the unit in the reverse 
order of disassembly and test operation.
