4-9. Actions to be taken when an abnormal state is detected

4-9-1. Ensuring safety of patients

Immediately move the equipment away from the patient and quit operation.

Keep the patient in safe condition and administer the required medical treatment.

4-9-2. Handling the instrument

Turn off the ultrasound diagnostic instrument, remove its plug from the AC socket and sterilize if it is

contaminated. For details, refer to the instruction manual for the ultrasound diagnostic instrument.

Caution

Do not use a equipment where a problem has been found.

Using a equipment

in an abnormal state can cause injury to the patient. Contact one of our offices
