Installing and Replacing Batteries

CAUTION

Poor performance or damage from battery leakage could result. Observe the cautions

listed below.

• Do no mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

• Pay attention to the polarity markings “+ –”, so that you do not insert the batteries the

wrong way around

• Do not use batteries after their recommended expiry date.

• Do not leave depleted batteries inside the instrument.

• Remove batteries from the instrument if it is to be stored for a long time.

•

Replace batteries only with the specified type.

You will need: No. 2 Phillips screwdriver and LR03 Alkaline battery ×2

Recommended screw tightening torque: 0.7 N



Exercise care to orient batteries properly.
