To delete a connection configuration from the list, select the connect name
you want to delete from the list, and press "Enter" on the "delete" button. Or,
press "Delete" on the connection name you want to delete.
To exit the ADSL setup, press "Alt-F4", or press "Enter" on the "Close"
button.
17.11 Display Network Status
Using this utility, you can check whether the Braille Sense U2 QWERTY is
currently connected to the Internet. This utility provides information about the
current connection type, the current IP of the unit, subnet mask, gateway,
and MAC address. To check network status, press "Enter" on "Display
Network Status", or press "n" from the "Utilities" menu. You can also queery
network status from the "program" menu by pressing "Fn-n".
When you launch "Display network status", the information about the current
connection is displayed. If you press “Tab”, the Braille Sense U2 QWERTY
displays a "Renew" button. If you press “Tab” again, "close" is displayed. If
you press "shift-tab", the Braille Sense U2 QWERTY moves among these
elements in the opposite direction.
The first item in the information list (status) indicates whether the Braille
Sense U2 QWERTY is currently connected to the Internet (online/offline),
and if so, the current connection type (LAN, Modem, ADSL, or Wireless
LAN). The next item is the "current IP address", followed by "Subnet mask",
and "Gateway", and finally "MAC address". You can move among these
items by pressing “down arrow button” or “up arrow button”. If the Braille
Sense U2 QWERTY is not currently connected to the Internet, the status
information shows "offline", and the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway
display 0's.
