Interfaces
The
Interfaces
section lists the interfaces that can be managed by the
netFIELD OS, and shows their basic parameters (IP address, current
volumes of sending and receiving).
br-xxxxxxxxxxxx
: This is a “bridge” that was automatically created by the
netFIELD OS after “onboarding” the device. Do not change the settings of
this interface!
cifx0
: This is an internal interface connecting the communication controller
to the netFIELD OS.
Important
: Never change the settings of this interface since it provides
internal connectivity to the device-embedded IO-Link controller!
eth0
: This is the Ethernet LAN interface of the device (for the location of the
Ethernet LAN connector of the device, see position
(8)
page 12]). You can change the IP settings of this interface, e.g.
set a fixed IP address instead of DHCP mode or add additional addresses.
Important
: Do not deactivate this interface!
wlan0
: This is the Wi-Fi interface of the device (not yet implemented).
