The upper and lower peaks of the output waveform (blue) are not symmetrical. You can tell

by inspecting the vertical distance between the yellow and blue waveforms.

At first glance, this might seem okay – but pay close attention! – the output waveform (blue) is

above and below

the input

waveform! This is not correct, as we will see in the following correct example.

GAIN = 0dB

BLEND = WET (100%)

THRESHOLD = +26dBu

RATIO = MAXIMUM

POOR SYMMETRY
