You receive this message after successful
programming.
The device searches in the immediate
vicinity for an activated, programmed target
sensor whose configuration (side) is to be
switched. Therefore, keep the device close
to the desired sensor.
You receive this message when
a “WIRELESS” sensor is found.
Press the ESC button.
2.6 Relearn Information
Use the arrow keys
to navigate.
Select “Teaching-in info”.
Press “OK” to confirm.
You now see the required teaching-in
procedure for the selected vehicle as
soon as new wheels sensors have been
installed.
Use the arrow keys to browse through
the text until the end and read it
carefully.
2.7 OBD II
The AirGuard offers up to 5 OBD II functions
depending on the vehicle selected:
Read OBD II (ID)
These functions can be used using our
AirGuard and the OBD II connecting
cable supplied.
Write OBD II (ID)
These functions can be used using our
AirGuard and the OBD II connecting
cable supplied.
Unlock control unit
You can use our OBD II Bluetooth adap-
tor with item number 95990022 available
to purchase separately to use these
functions.
Delete DTC
You can use our OBD II Bluetooth adap-
tor with item number 95990022 available
to purchase separately to use these
functions.
Position OBD II port
The “Position OBD II port” function is
available for every vehicle and shows
the approximate position of the OBD II
socket on the vehicle.
2.7.1 Relearn Information via OBD II
Select the desired vehicle. Use the AirGuard
to trigger all tyres to check whether sensors
are fitted at all.
NOTE
Do not forget the spare wheel.
To trigger the sensors, the AirGuard tool
must not yet be connected to the OBD II. The
sensors are triggered by the diagnostic func-
tion. Select the “Multidiagnosis” function.
Please observe the sensor activation se-
quence when triggering:
Front left
Front right
Rear left
Rear right
Spare wheel
If all sensors are correctly installed and pro-
grammed, start the teaching-in procedure.
For this, please read the following steps un-
der “Rewrite/overwrite vehicle ID”.
2.7.2 OBD II options
Connect the AirGuard to the OBD II socket on
the vehicle using the OBD II connecting ca-
ble supplied. Switch on the ignition without
starting the vehicle.
