3-10. CHANGING THE FILTER

The

envelope should be changed after 10-12

ENVELOPE

whenever it becomes clogged with crumbs. Proceed as

follows:

Move the COOK/PUMP switch to the OFF position.

Remove and empty the condensation drain pan.

Disconnect the

union and remove the

drain pan

from beneath the frypot.

Use protective cloth or glove when disconnecting the

care to prevent splashing, or severe burns could

result.

Lift the

screen assembly from the drain pan.

Wipe the shortening and crumbs from the

drain pan.

Clean the

drain pan with soap and water.

Thoroughly rinse with hot water.

Unthread the standpipe from the

screen assembly.

Remove the crumb catcher and clean thoroughly with

hot water.
