GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING WITH THE MACHINE
• Branches, up to maximum diameter (see Specifications), are inserted into the filling
channel at the bottom of which they are crushed by rotating blades.
• Never push the branches into the filling channel with force. They must be inserted
freely and moved only. Patulous branches must be chopped or cut into smaller
pieces before being inserted into the crusher.
•
Move the short cuttings and small branches into the crusher with longer branches, never
with your hands. Alternatively, use a wooden stick or a handle, never a metal object.
• Push thicker branches slower than thinner branches.
• Do not move your face closer to the feed tray. There is a risk of injury.
• Never operate the machine without the collection box and do not attempt to remove
blocked running.
• Keep a safe distance from the machine when crushing as the long branches can be thrown
out when pulling in.
• Push the short material inwards using a slider, never do it with your hands!
• Follow the work speed of the machine and do not overload it.
• To avoid clogging the machine, use several days dry garden waste, thinner branches and
thicker branches alternately.
• Remove any residual soil and stones from the roots before crushing.
• Do not crush soft and damp material, such as kitchen waste!
• Crush a few dry branches as the last to clean the crushing area.
• Turn off the machine only when the crushing area is clean. Do not start the machine with
any material in the filling channel!
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!
A
To ensure proper functioning of the machine, it is necessary to have it checked and
adjusted by qualified personnel in an authorized service centre at least once a year.
Proper maintenance is essential for safe, economic and trouble-free operation of
the machine.
Failure to follow the maintenance instructions and safety precautions may cause serious injury
or death. Always follow the procedures, safety precautions, recommended maintenance and
recommended checks mentioned in this manual.
WARNING!
B
Prior to any work on the machine (maintenance, inspection, replacement of
accessories, servicing) or before storing it, ALWAYS SWITCH THE ENGINE OFF, wait
for all moving parts to stop and allow the machine to cool down. Prevent the engine
from being accidentally started. Disconnect the power cord from the grid.
THIS WARNING IS NOT REPEATED IN ANY FOLLOWING POINTS!
