Log Assembly: LOGS-6OAK

F.   Positioning the Logs

If the gas logs have been factory installed they should not

need to be positioned. If the logs have been packaged

separately, refer to the following instructions.

CAUTION:

  Carefully remove the logs from the

packaging. Logs are fragile!

STEP 2.

LOG #1 (SRV385-720): Place the log so that the notches on the bottom of log line up with the

grate bars. Note: There should be about 1/4” gap between the log and the hump on the burner.

STEP 3.

LOG #2 (SRV385-724): Place this log so that the notches on the bottom of the log line up with the

grate bars and slide it into the firebox until it hits the hump on the burner.

STEP 1.

Remove the metal grate support which

is stabilizing the grate for shipping purposes.
