Configuration and parameterization

•

Start your configuration program (e.g. Step7; if you do not have a
configuration program, proceed as in chapter 10.2)

•

Load the HBM GSE file (the PME system CD includes GSD/GSE files for
the PME)

•

Add an HBM device from the hardware catalog

•

From the hardware catalog, select the configuration you need on the
PROFIBUS.

NOTE

In the MP70DP configuration, the slot names designate the connected
PME modules:

Slot 0:

either occupied by the MP70DP itself, or designated an
empty slot

Slots 1-8:

configure the other PME modules in CAN identifier
sequence.
