If you select 802.11n, the only wireless clients using 802.11n band will be able to
connect to this access point. (Maximum 300Mbps for 802.11n clients)
Auto Channel:
Enable/Disable the function. If disabled, the WiFi channel will be fixed to the
manually selected channel.
Channel:
Please select a channel from the dropdown list of ‘Channel Number’, You can
choose any channel number you want to use, and almost all wireless clients can
locate the channel you’re using automatically without any problem. However,
it’s still useful to remember the channel number you use, as some wireless clients
support manual channel number selecting, and this would help in certain
scenarios when there are radio communication conflicts
By default, it is on AUTO but if you have a specific channel you wish to use, you
can select it here.
Tx Power:
You can adjust the output power of the access point to get the appropriate
coverage for your wireless network. Specify power levels between level 1 and
level 9. Level 9 is the maximum setting.
Slot Time:
Slot time is in the range of 9-1489ms. Default value is 9ms.
Slot time is the amount of time a device waits after a collision before
retransmitting a packet. Reducing the slot time decreases the overall back-off,
which increases throughput. Back-off, which is a multiple of the slot time, is the
random length of time a station waits before sending a packet on the LAN.
ACK Timeout:
ACK Timeout is in the range of 1-372ms. Default value is 64ms.
All data transmissions in the 802.11b/g request an “Acknowledgement” (ACK) by
the receiving radio. The transmitter will resend the original network packet if
the ACK failed to arrive with the specified interval.
