- PRE-OPERATION AND CONTROLS
1 - Pre-operation checks and inspection
N.B.: Perform all required maintenance work before operating the unit.
• A walk-around inspection must be performed at the beginning of each work shift or at each change
of operator.
• Ensure that all safety labels are legible and in place. Clean or replace as required. See "Labels"
section.
• Before removing the filler plugs, wipe all dirt or grease away from the ports. If dirt enters these
ports, this can severely reduce component life.
• When adding fluids, refer to Section H to determine the correct type and frequency.
Use extreme caution when checking parts that are difficult to reach. Use an approved ladder. Failure to
comply with these instructions could result in death or serious injury.
