Power Supply Module Failure
If a failure occurs with one of the redundant power supply modules, an alarm is generated. It is essential that
both power supply modules be connected at all times, therefore it is recommended that the failed module be
replaced immediately to maintain full power redundancy.

System Cooling

Using a grounded wrist strap designed to prevent static discharge when handling components, loosen
the two knurled captive panel screws on the back of the NEXIO VOLT and slide the cover backwards
toward the rear of the chassis.

Lift the cover up and off the chassis

Check system cooling to make sure that all heatsink fans, and CPU/system fans, etc., are work
properly.

CMOS Battery
The CMOS is found onboard your motherboard that hold a small bit of code which helps the
NXAMP3801HDX/HDI boot up in Windows. If the NXAMP3801HDX/HDI starts losing its date and time
settings, you can be sure your CMOS battery is running out of power. If it is not changed out soon you will
eventually get to a point where the NXAMP3801HDX/HDI cannot find its own hard drives during a reboot
and you may see the blue screen flash up with an error that says
Unmountable_boot_Volume
