Chapter 5 - Calibration

Step 3. If the display is reading improperly or shows no change there

is something wrong either with the configuration or installa-
tion.

Step 4. If the display changes in the proper direction move onto the

calibration of the controller.

Calibration Setup
Procedures

Step 1. Press the "Config" button. The security display appears.
Step 2. If the unit is being calibrated for the first time, use the

numeric keys and enter the default high code value numbers
"1 2 3 4".

Step 3. If a high code value other than the default number has been

entered use that number.

NOTE:

You can press the "Enter" button, but it may only permit read only access to all the
calibration parameters you want to change. We highly recommend using the High
Code number.

Step 4. Press the Enter button. The Main Menu appears.
Step 5. Press the down arrow

↓

button until the cursor is next to the

"Calibration" sub-menu.

Step 6. Press the Enter button. The Mass Units sub-menu appears.

Setting the Mass
Units

Step 1. Press the "Select" button to scroll through all the Engineering

(weight and volume) Mass Unit selections which are:

LBS = pounds

Default

OZS = ounces
TNS = tons
KGS = kilograms
GLS = gallons
LTR = liters
MLT = milliliters
GRM = grams

Step 2. When you have scrolled to the selection you want, press the

Enter button. The entry accepted is briefly flashed on the dis-
play.`

Step 3. The Mass Units are used in the displays and on reports.

NOTE:

The HI 2160RC

PLUS

Rate Controller does not perform conversions between the vari-

ous mass units. To change the mass units, a weight re-calibration of the controller is
required.

Step 4. Press the down arrow

button until the cursor is in front of

the Time Unit sub-menu.
