- The pump is supplied with the connected cable and temperature monitoring of the motor. The cable must
not be detached from the motor, since otherwise the guarantee for the water tightness of the line inlet is
voided. The cable cores are designated in accordance with the diagram.

- ATTENTION: If the electrical equipment is undersized or of poor quality, this will lead to premature wear
and tear of all parts that come into contact with each other. It means that feeding of the motor is unsym-
metrical leading to damage to the motor. The use of frequency converters and soft starters can, if they
are not set up correctly, cause damage to the pump aggregate. The technical department of Häny AG can
provide support with this.
- All starting devices must always be equipped with:
1) A main circuit breaker with a minimum opening of the contact pieces of 3 mm and stopping in open posi-
tion.
2) Suitable thermal protection equipment for the motor which is set up for maximum power input. The
nominal current value given on the type plate of the motor must not be exceeded by more than 5%. The
response time must be less than 30 seconds.
3) A suitable magnet protective device for the cable against short circuits.
4) A suitable device to protect the electric pump against earthing faults.
5) A suitable protective device against phase failure.
6) A protective device against dry operation.
7) A voltage and ampere meter.
