Infrastructure (AP): Infrastructure access
In Infrastructure mode, computers with WLAN network adapters, also
known as WLAN clients, are connected to an existing network using
a WLAN router or access point .
Configuring the network name (SSID)
Each WLAN network has a configurable network name (network
identifier) or "SSID" (Service Set Identifier) in order to be able to
uniquely identify the wireless network .

Press the Goto button to refresh the SSID list .

The abbreviations in the column SECURITY of the SSID list have the
following meaning:
WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (Wi-Fi Protected

Access) indicate that a network is encrypted and that a pass-
word is necessary in order to access the network .
NONE indicates that a network is freely accessible (non-
–
encrypted) .
