Inserting batteries into the remote control
Open the cover of the battery compartment on the back of the
remote control .
Place the two AA batteries supplied into the battery compartment
and pay attention to the correct polarity .
Replace the cover on the battery compartment .
NOTE
Change the batteries when the range of the remote control

decreases or if the media player no longer reacts to all com-
mands .
Switching the device ON and OFF
Switching on
After connecting to the DC IN socket and pressing the ON/OFF but-
ton on the front of the device, the main menu appears on the screen
and the indicator lamp lights up blue .
NOTE
Alternatively you can press the

ON/OFF (standby) button on
the remote control to switch on the device .
Switching off
After pressing the ON/OFF button on the front of the device, the de-
vice switches to standby mode and the indicator lamp lights up red .
NOTE
Alternatively you can press the

ON/OFF (standby) button on
the remote control to switch the device to standby mode .
To switch off the device completely, remove the AC adapter

from the mains socket .
