The following picture formats (picture aspect ratios) are available
here:
Pan Scan 4:3
Display of a wide picture on the entire screen
whereby unnecessary areas are cut out . Select
this option if you have connected a television with
a standard screen size (4:3) .
Letter Box 4:3
Display of a wide picture with two black bands
at the top and bottom of the screen . Select this
option if you have connected a television with the
standard screen (4:3) .
16:9
16:10
The picture is compressed and displayed as a full-
screen picture . Select this setting if the device is
connected to wide-screen television . If you select
this option for a normal television, the picture will
be distorted because of vertical compression .
Use the
▼▲ navigation buttons to select the desired picture
format .
Press the
Enter button to confirm the selection and activate
the setting .
Setting the zoom
Select the submenu "Video" and the menu item "Zoom out" as
described in section
"Opening the setup menu and navigat-
ing”
.
The selected menu item appears on the screen .
Use the
▼▲ navigation buttons to activate/deactivate this set-
ting .
Press the
Enter button to confirm the selection .
