G Operating instruction
1. Safety notes
Warning
• The wall switch is part of the building installation. The
relevant standards and guidelines of the respective
country are to be observed during planning and instal-
lation. The device may only be operated on a 230 V
50 Hz AC voltage supply. Work with the 230 V mains
supply may only be carried out by electricians certified
in your country. The applicable accident prevention
regulations are to be observed.
• To avoid an electric shock from the device, please
disconnect the mains voltage (switch off circuit
breaker). Failure to observe the installation instructions
can cause fire or other hazards.
• The installation may only be carried out in standard
flush-mounted boxes with a minimum depth of 40 mm.
• Observe the permissible wires and wire cross-sections
when connecting to the device terminals.
• Pay careful attention to the wiring diagram!
• The product is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.
Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
• Do not continue to operate the product if it becomes visibly
damaged.
• Switch on and use only with the safety covers closed.
2. It’s so simple:
• Just download the app Hama Smart Solution from the
Apple app store or the Google Play store
• Start the Hama Smart Solution app
• If you’re using it for the first time, you’ll have to register
and create a new account. If you already have an account,
log in using your login details
• After installation of the switch (by a qualified electrician),
the blue LED flashes quickly. If it does not flash, press the
button for about 6 seconds until the LED flashes.
• Now click + in the upper-right corner and select Switch .
• Confirm with Device is flashing quickly .
• Now enter the name of your WiFi network and the pass-
word, and confirm with Confirm .
• The switch is now connected.
• Once it has been successfully added, you can set up,
control and configure the WiFi switch with the app.

warranty for damage resulting from improper installation/
mounting, improper use of the product or from failure to
observe the operating instructions and/or safety notes.

Directive 2012/19/EU and 2006/66/EU in the

must not be disposed of with household waste.

service lives to the public collecting points set up for this
purpose or point of sale. Details to this are defined by the
