3.5.2 E-mail settings
Once the camera detects a movement in the fi eld of vision, the system can send a photo of this image by e-mail.
You can alter the e-mail settings in this menu item.
E-mail Subject:
Subject of the e-mail
Recipient E-Mail Address:
E-mail address of the person receiving the image.
Sender E-Mail Address:
Address of the e-mail account sending the mail.
SMTP Server:
Enter the address of the SMTP server that you use to send the e-mail.
If you do not know the address of the SMTP server, you can fi nd it out from your e-mail
provider.
SMTP Port:
The camera requires this port to register on the SMTP server used to send the e-mail.
Information about the port is available from your e- mail provider.
SMTP Authentication:
Some e-mail providers require SMTP authentication when sending e-mails.
If your provider requires this, select
“Enable”.
User Name:
Enter the user name for the e-mail account that is to be used to send the e-mail.
Password:
Enter the password for this account.
Click
“OK”
to confi rm your settings.
Security
This menu item enables you to enter the default password the program uses for logging into the cameras. The password can also be
entered manually when establishing the connection (see 3.3.).
3.5.4 General information
This menu item displays all of the general information about the camera software,
e.g. program version. The program version enables you to check if a new version is available at
www.hama.de.
