2.6 Motion detection
Motion detection turns the wireless LAN camera into a surveillance device. A movement or change in the area under surveillance is
detected and, depending on the camera’s setting, the system sends an image of the change/movement by e-mail or uploads it to an
FTP server.
The fi rst menu item enables you to turn motion detection
On or Off.
Identifi cation interval:
The system checks for movements or changes within the camera’s fi eld of vision at regular times: the
identifi cation interval defi nes the time (in seconds) between each check.
Limit:
Defi nes the precision of the motion detection in a range from 1 (very precise) to 6 (low precision).
Send snapshot as e-mail:
If the system senses a movement, it captures an image which can be sent by e-mail to a preselected
address

2.7 System settings
This menu item enables you to select all relevant system settings such as password and time settings.
2.7.1 Camera information
Camera name:
For changing the name of the wireless LAN camera. This enables you to identify each camera without
ambiguity if your network contains several cameras.
Password:
Enables you to change the password for the user
“admin”.
The default administrator password is admin.
Password confi rmation:
As a precaution, your new password must be re-entered to avoid typing errors.
