Open the railing door when the service lift stops at the height of the railing:

Pull the handle of the interlocking up and pull the slide (1) out of the
locking unit (2).
Locking the railing door:

Pull the interlocking handle upwards and slide the slide fully into the
locking unit.

For the service lift to be ready for operation, the shutter door
and railing door must be shut. The interlocking of the railing
doors must be locked on every platform.

Depending on the tower design, an alternative electrical interlocking may be
used. However, the functioning remains the same.

The mechanical inter locks the railing door. The mechanical
interlocking can only be opened with a key, which is fastened to a wire cable in
the service lift. During unlocking of the interlocking, the shutter door of the
service lift cannot be closed and the service lift cannot run. Only the interlocking
at the platform where the service lift has stopped can be opened.
WARNING!
When the railing door is open, there is a risk of injury from falling.
Only open the railing door if the service lift is at the platform.
Before you open the railing door, use the PFPE to secure yourself to
one of the attachment points provided.
Opening the railing door

Open the shutter door of the service lift.

Open the interlocking with the key (4) attached to the service lift. A
marking on the key and lock (3) helps to align them correctly.

Pull the slide (1) out of the locking unit (2). Open the railing door.

The service lift cannot be used as long as the interlocking
mechanism is unlocked.
Close interlocking
1.

Close the railing door.
2.
►
Slide the slide completely into the locking unit and turn the lock with
the key.

Close the shutter door of the service lift.
