Check the seal on the overload setting (2) for integrity.

The seal on the overload setting is damaged: The rope hoist
must be serviced immediately in accordance with the annual
maintenance schedule.
The cabin shall be serviced immediately in accordance with
the five-yearly maintenance schedule.
⇨
Take the service lift out of service and attach the “Out of
Order” sign to the main switch. Only authorised specialist
personnel may commission the unit again.

Check the attachment of the rope hoist to the service lift (visual
inspection of the screw connections).

Check the plug on the motor (1) for proper seating.
Functional test of service brake

Drive the service lift approx. 2 m upwards.

Stop the service lift. The service lift must stop immediately.
3.
►
Lower the service lift again and stop it. The service lift must stop
immediately.
⇨
The service lift sags after stopping: The hoist is not safe and
must be sent in for a general overhaul or be replaced. Lock
service lift!

Take the service lift to a height of approx. 2 m.

Check whether the locking lever (1) and the release lever (2) point
vertically downwards.
3.

Turn the locking lever a quarter turn counterclockwise. The fall
arrester should audibly latch in place.
