Remote Terminal Interface Commands
Once the remote port has been configured, most functions of this timelapse recorder
may be controlled from a personal computer or dumb terminal supplying an
asynchronous port by sending operational commands to the recorder.
These commands have been divided into six command sets as listed below.
• Set 1: Operational Control Commands, (Play, Counter Reset, and so on)
• Set 2: VCR Status Return Commands
• Set 3: VCR Extended Status Commands (Tab, Index, Lock, and so on)
• Set 4: Program Control Function Commands (Program, Previous, Up, Down, and
so on)
• Set 5: Tape Speed Commands
• Set 6: Extended Commands (Date Set, Timer Program, and so on)
Each command is described in the subsections that follows.
Note The recorder remote will respond to commands with (unless
otherwise noted):

?
- command incorrect, does not exist or cannot be performed
Set 1 - Operational Control Commands
The Operational Control Commands are entered by pressing the A and then
pressing the number or symbol key listed next to the commands below.
Note Letters are case sensitive for all the commands on the following pages.
