Align the Z-axis precisely as follows:

Prerequisite:You are aware of the different roller positions

Move to first pickup and deposit position

Position the Z-axis right at the bottom

Attach the machine square frame level to the Z-axis guideway as shown
in the illustration

Check vertical alignment

In the event of deviations in the Z-axis, vertically align it precisely with
the upper rollers of the Y-carriage:

Set maximum tooth flank backlash at drive pinion of the Z-axis

Remove the wiper and lubrication units

5.3

Slightly loosen screws with hexagonal socket wrench

5.4

Adjust upper roller with pin-type face wrench according to mea-
suring result

5.5

Tighten the screws

5.6

Repeat process from step 4

Repeat procedure for remaining pickup and deposit positions and average
out measuring result and fine adjustment if necessary

Install the wiper and lubrication units

Set tooth flank backlash at drive pinion of the Z-axis
