Operation
MMI operating- and fault displays
LED 3
Yellow
Quick magnetisation
The LED is lit
y
Quick magnetisation of the lifting magnet is activated.
Ö
“Release”
The LED lights up during quick magnetisation.
The LED goes out once quick magnetisation has been fully
completed.
The LED goes out when quick magnetisation is terminated.
The LED flashes when the operator requested a slow release
(extended sorting) which causes the material to drop very slowly in
a controlled fashion.
Note
The lifting magnet can continue to be magnetised for some
time - this is because demagnetisation proceeds significantly
more slowly.
Note:
In Jog mode, quick magnetisation is not used and not indicated
on the MMI.
LED 4
Orange
The LED is lit: interruption
y
The connection cable to the lifting magnet is not connected
or the connection is broken.
After switch-on, a check is run to see whether current is flowing
through the lifting magnet. Without a flow of current, the lifting
magnet will be switched off again after approx. 1-2 seconds - the
LED will light up.
The LED goes out when the fault is no longer active after the
machine is switched on again.
When the magnetic connection monitor is optional, it can be
measured as to whether a lifting magnet was connected in
advance. The LED interruption already lights up immediately
after pressing the button when the switch-on command is
issued and goes out automatically once a magnet is connected.
The LED is flashing: interface fault
y
A fault occurred on the interface between MMI and the
controller.
