Installation and commissioning

Installation of the switch box, construction type “External Unit”

5.8.2

Permissible installation site for a switch box

The switch box must be mounted so that

the cooling vanes are vertical and to ensure

unobstructed air convection through the cooling

vanes.

The plug connections on the switch box must

face down in the installation position.

Other installation positions are not

permitted.

5.8.3

Installing the generator connection cable

The connection cable must be installed between the switch box and

generator in accordance with the instructions and regulations.

On the switch boxes for

MAPLA 8,

MAPLA 13,

MAPLA 17, the connection

cable is firmly connected to the switch box and has a connector plug for the

generator.

On the

MAPLA 20 and 25 system, the connection cable is securely connected

to the generator and has a connector plug for the switch box.
