MMI operating- and fault displays
LED 7
Cyclic duration factor of the lifting magnet
Multi-coloured LED display
(50 % green, 60 % yellow, 70 % orange, from 80 % red):
y
The cyclic duration factor of the lifting magnet is indicated in
per cent.
Values under 50 % are not shown.
Caution!
Switch off the lifting magnet when the cyclic duration factor is
less than 80 %. There is an indication but no engagement lock.
The cyclic duration factor of the lifting magnet is the ratio
between the switch-on/switch-off time.
Continuous running when the cyclic duration factor is too
high can cause damage to or overheating of the lifting magnet
(follow the data sheet for the lifting magnet). The
i
MAPLA
system is in no way at risk here (100 % suitable, cyclic duration
factor S1).
Example
A switch-on time of 1 minute and subsequent switch-off time of
1 Minute is equivalent to a relative connection time of 50 %.
Ö
Cyclic duration factor greater than or equal to 80 %,

Automatic LED brightness adjustment on the MMI
To ensure that these indications are easy to follow on the MMI at
all times, this sensor is used to adjust the brightness of the LEDs
automatically - e.g. so that they are brighter in direct sunlight
than when dark.
