6.10.1
Interruption
LED 4
The LED is lit:
y
The connection cable to the lifting magnet is not connected or
the connection is broken.
After switch-on, a check is run to see whether current is flowing
through the lifting magnet. Without a flow of current, the lifting
magnet will be switched off again after approx. 1-2 seconds- the LED
will light up.
The LED goes out when the fault is no longer active after the machine is
switched on again.
When the magnetic connection monitor is optional, it can be measured as
to whether a lifting magnet was connected in advance. The LED interruption
already lights up immediately after pressing the button when the switch-on
command is issued and goes out automatically once a magnet is connected.
Troubleshooting measures
>
Switch off the drive unit and secure against being switched on again
(e.g. remove the ignition key and keep it in a safe place).
>
Check whether the plugs on the connection line to the lifting magnet are
plugged in properly. Plug them in properly where required.
>
Check the connection line to the lifting magnet for visible damage.
Replace or repair the connection line where necessary.
>
If the fault persists, please get in touch with the manufacturer or a party
authorised by the manufacturer.
>
Replacing the load cable between the magnet and controller may help
find the fault directly, just as measuring the resistance of the magnetic coil
on the connector plug of the switch box might help. These readings must
be performed by an electrician.
