3. Receiving the product
3.1 Transporting the solution
Make sure that the solution is correctly fastened. The ex-
terior pipe connections are not intended for fastening dur-
ing transport. See figure Fastening during transport.
When transporting and handling the solution at low tem-
peratures, the solution must be examined for cracks, ex-
tensions and contractions due to changes in ambient tem-
perature.
Transport the solution in vertical position, and fasten it to the
transporting vehicle.
Provide adequate lifting equipment at the location of delivery.
The weight is shown on the nameplate and the product label.
Follow the instructions below when transporting and handling
the solution:
•
Secure the solution properly during transport.
•
Do not tilt the solution when removing it from the vehicle. Lift the
solution with lifting equipment attached to the lifting brackets of
the solution.
•
Handle and lift the solution according to local regulations.
•
Use only approved straps made of textile or similar material
when lifting the solution to or from a vehicle or moving it at the
construction site.
•
Do not expose the solution to point loads.
•
Do not drag the solution across the floor.
•
Do not expose the solution to sharp edges.
•
Place the solution on a level surface.
Fastening during transport
The solution can be fitted with lifting eyebolts that can be
removed after transport. We recommend that you lift
the solution with a forklift. If this is not possible, use the
lifting eyebolts. When lifting the solution, the lifting point
must always be above the centre of gravity to ensure sta-
bility.
