The projector must always be used with the objective in the operating position, while the 2 lenses
can also not be in the operating position.
4.5 Master/Slave mode
More Pro-Motion units can be set to Slave option to follow the Master unit. The Master unit must
be set to Master/manual mode and it must execute a program, while all the Slave units must have
the DMX address set to 1.
The DMX specifications require a 100-120 ohm terminal resistor, which must be fitted between the
DATA+ and DATA- Pins in the last unit of the DMX line.
The accessories which are installed in the Master unit must be installed also in the Slave units, with
the exception of two accessories: the motorized zoom and the Dimmer/Strobe/Black-out module
may also be installed only in some units of the Master/Slave chain.
5.0 MAINTENANCE
All the projectors require regular maintenance to ensure maximum functionality and maximum
optic output. Please follow these instructions:
- clean regularly the front glass, the lenses, the objective and the dichroic filters, as even a very thin
layer of dust can substantially reduce the light output;
- replace the glass if it has been visibly damaged with cuts, cracks and deep scratches.
- replace the lamp if it has been visibly damaged or if it has been deformed because of excessive
heating;
- check the electrical connections, particularly the ground connection;
- clean the upper and lower fan grids;
- Replace all eventually damaged spare parts;
