4.4 Setting Focus/Zoom
The projector is equipped with an optic group that
consists of 1 objective and 2 lenses. These compo-
nents (the objective and the 2 lenses) can slide
along the guide rod to allow the manual focus
adjustment of the projected image.
Manual focus adjustment:
- After opening the projector (see paragraph 4.3),
switch on the lamp and project the light beam on
to the surface;
- Loosen the metal knob relevant to the objective
or to the lens that you intend to adjust. Let the lens
plus its support (or the objective plus its support)
slide along the guide rod (the metal knobs are
indicated by the arrows as per pict.9);
- Screw the metal knob in its new position. Ensure
also that the lens holder completely rests against
the lower rod;
- When closing the lid ensure that the binding-
clamps which supply the fans with power are assembled as per paragraph 3.2 pict.1.
The lenses can also be excluded from the optical group, by rotating around the guide rod. In this
case, a different beam angle will be obtained.
Use of the projector with one or two lenses excluded:
- Open the projector (see paragraph 4.3);
- Loosen the metal knob relevant to the lens that you intend to exclude and rotate the lens, along
with its support, on the rod (see pict.10, 11 and 12);
- The lens holder is equipped with a spring, which is fixed onto a rod to keep the lens holder raised.
- Close the lid (see paragraph 4.3).
