3.6 Electrical Connection
Connect the supplied socket to a 3-poles x 2,5 mm2
cable. Connect to the power supply making sure that
voltage and frequency are respected (230V - 50/60 Hz).
(E. pic. 6). Plug the 6-poles connector (D. pic 6) to
the ballast socket F (F pic 6). Please note that for safety
reasons it is mandatory to connect the ground cable
The power supply line must be properly grounded and
must also be protected by a differential
magneto.thermal switch with the following electrical spe-
cifications :
- Operating amperage (in) 20A
- Sensitivity (id) 0,03 A
This projector is equipped with power factor correction
system.
3.7 DMX Line connection
Remove the stoppers from the signal cable clips ( pict.6).
Input cable: one tip of the DMX digital cable must be fixed through the cable clip and then connec-
ted to the terminal. The polarity indicated on the label must be respected (GND, DATA-, DATA+).
If the projector is the last unit of a line, do not remove the screw stopper referring to the missing
Output cable.
If the projector is not the last unit of the DMX line, connect the Output cable through the screw
stopper that is still available.
Output cable: Connect the Output cable to the terminal, together with the Input cable.
In addition, make sure that the screw stoppers are properly tightened, so that protection against dust
and water jets is ensured.
Make sure that wires are correctly connected to the junction-box. It is recommended to use a 2
poles + armour shielded wire (Armour: GND, Pole 1: Data+, Pole 2: Data-).
Close the cover lid (A fig 6) and tighten properly all the cable glands.
Note:
if the control signal cables are not connected, do not remove any of the screw stoppers.
