In the case where the quick-release devices cannot encircle thicker roof bars (over 60 mm),
disassemble the lower jaw of the quick-fastening device and the knob M8 as shown in figure 10. Place
the box on the roof of the car. Then, lift the bottom of the box and slide the 4 "T" adapters in the
groove for the roof bars so that the "T" adapter screw passes through the opening of the plastic wedge
at the bottom of the roof box (figure 13). Place the plastic wedge on the "T" adapter inside the box and
secure the box to the roof bars by firmly tightening the plastic knob M8 (figure 14).
For the
Wollemi
and
Tongariro
models, it is necessary to remove the oval pins from the lower part of
the plastic wedge and to move the knob M8 in the central section through which the "T" adapter must
pass.
