c.For heating and cooling unit, when 22°C(71.6°F)<Tindoor am bient<26°C(78.8°F) (for cooling only unit, 22°C(71.6°F)<Tindoor
ambient<26°C)(78.8°F), it will keep the original running mode. If the unit is energized for the first time, it will run in fan mode.
© Protection
a. In cooling operation, protection is the same as that under the cooling mode;
b. In heating operation, protection is the same as that under the heating mode;
c. W hen ambient tem perature changes, operation mode will be converted preferentially. Once started, the com pressor willremain
unchanged for at least 6 minutes.
(7)Common Protection Functions and Fault Display under COOL, HEAT, DRY and AUTO Modes
© Overload protection
Ttube: measured tem perature of outdoor heat exchanger under cooling mode; and measured tem perature of indoor heat exchanger under
heating mode.
1) Cooling overload
a .If T tube<52°C(125.6°F), the unit will return to its original operation state.
b.If T tube>55°C(131°F), frequency rise is not allowed.
c.If T tube>58°C(136.4°F), the com pressor will run at reduced frequency.
d .If T tube>62°C(143.6°F), the com pressor will stop and the indoor fan will run at preset speed.
2) Heating overload
a.If T tube<50°C(122°F), the unit will return to its original operation state.
b.If T tube>53°C(127.4°F), frequency rise is not allowed.
c.If T tube>56°C(132.8°F), the com pressor will run at reduced frequency.
d .If T tube>60°C(140°F), the com pressor will stop and the indoor fan will blow residue heat and then stop.
© Exhaust tem perature protection of compressor
If exhaust tem perature>98°C(208.4°F), frequency is not allowed to rise.
If exhaust tem perature>103°C(217.4°F), the com pressor will run at reduced frequency.
If exhaust temperature>110°C(230°F),, the com pressor will stop.
If exhaust tem perature<90°C(194°F), and the com pressor has stayed at stop for at least 3 minutes, the com pressor will resume its operation.
© Communication fault
If the unit fails to receive correct signals for durative 3 minutes, communication fault can be justified and the whole system will stop.
© Module protection
Under module protection mode, the com pressor will stop. W hen the com pressor remains at stop for at least 3 minutes, the com pressor will
resume its operation. If module protection occurs six tim es in succession, the com pressor will not be started again.
© Overload protection
If tem perature sensed by the overload sensor is over 115 , the com pressor will stop and the outdoor fan will stop with a time lag of 30
seconds. If tem perature is below 95 , the overload protection will be relieved.
© DC bus voltage protection
If voltage on the DC bus is below 150V or over 420V, the com pressor will stop and the outdoor fan will stop with a time lag of 30 seconds.
W hen voltage on the DC bus returns to its normal value and the com pressor has stayed at stop for at least 3 minutes, the com pressor will
resume its operation.

Designation of sensors Faults
Indoor ambient tem perature The sensor is detected to be open-circuited or short-circuited for successive 5 seconds
Indoor tube tem perature The sensor is detected to be open-circuited or short-circuited for successive 5 seconds
Outdoor ambient tem perature The sensor is detected to be open-circuited or short-circuited for successive 30 seconds
Outdoor tube tem perature
The sensor is detected to be open-circuited or short-circuited for successive 30 seconds, and no
detection is performed within 10 minutes after defrost begins.
Exhaust
A fter the com pressor has operated for 3 minutes, the sensor is detected to be open-circuited or
short-circuited for successive 30 seconds.
Overload
A fter the com pressor has operated for 3 minutes, the sensor is detected to be open-circuited or
short-circuited for successive 30 seconds.
3. O ther Controls
(1) ON/OFF
Press the remote button ON/OFF: the on-off state will be changed once each time you press the button.
(2) Mode Selection:
Press the remote button MODE, then select and show in the following ways: AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, HEAT, AUTO.
(3) Temperature Setting Option Button
Each time you press the remote button TEMP+ or TEMP-, the setting tem perature will be up or down by 1°C(1.8°F). Regulating Range:
16(60.8°F)~30°C(86°F), the button is useless under the AUTO mode.
(4) Time Switch
You should start and stop the machine according to the setting time by remote control.
