3. Pull pin (2) and release cylinder lock (1) from the
cylinder rod.
4. Stow cylinder lock in the storage location.
5. Repeat for each of the four lift hydraulic cylinder
rods on the main transport tires.
Tongue Hook Latch
Machine Damage Risk
Frame and opener damage is likely if the
planter is operated when tongue hook latch is
not secured. The tongue hook automatically
latches only when the planter is fully unfolded.
The tongue hook latch operates automatically during
the folding/unfolding. The tongue hook latch will
automatically lock when the planter is fully unfolded.
It will release as the planter begins to fold.

Operation Controls
Your PL5700 Planter may be configured with a
combination of devices and consoles for operational
control of your planter depending on the overall
configuration of planter options and accessories.
IntelliAg ISO6
If your planter is configured with hydraulic or electric
drive, your planter will be configured with IntelligAg
ISO6 on a console. The planter may also be operated
with a customer-provisioned WSMT compatible
console.
PL5700 Switch Box
The PL5700 switch box allows for in-cab use of
hydraulic systems and an optional electric clutch
control on planters configured with ground drive.

Raising/Lowering Tongue
Crushing Hazard
Do not stand or place any part or your body
between planter and tractor without first
removing the tractor key and setting the
parking brake before making adjustments in
the hitch area or surrounding area between the
tractor and planter. Keep others away. Failure
to follow instructions may result in severe injury
or death by being crushed between tractor
and planter.
