13. Attach a shipping caution tag (6) on the hydraulic

cylinder. 

14. Repeat steps 10 through 13 on the outer right-

side hydraulic lift cylinder.

With Switch Box

Frame Damage Risk

Do  not  raise/lower  the  wing  gauge  wheels  at
any  time  once  the  shipping  chain  has  been
installed. While  the  shipping  chain  is  installed
the planter lift hydraulic system should only be
operated as “Center” or “Center Lift” or planter
frame damage can occur. 

To install a check valve: 
1. If  installed,  remove  cylinder  locks  and  stow  in

storage position.

2. On the switch box, toggle the on/off power switch

to 

ON.

3. On the switch box, toggle the marker/fold switch

to 

MARKER.

4. On  the  switch  box,  toggle  the  lift  switch  to  the

position 

CENTER. 

5. Use the tractor lift circuit lever to lower the center

frame of the planter. 

6. Set tractor lift circuit lever to “Neutral”. 

7. Relieve hydraulic pressure.

8. Set tractor gear in “Park”, set park brake, turn off

tractor, and remove key. 

9. Locate the left-side hydraulic lift cylinder.
