Trailer Shipping

19. On the switch box, toggle the marker/fold switch

FOLD.

20. Use the tractor fold circuit lever to fold the

planter.

21. Set tractor hydraulic circuits to “Neutral”.

22. Set the parking brake.

23. Set tractor gear to “Park”.

24. Verify the wing hooks are resting on tongue stop.

25. Secure the wings to the tongue with a properly

rated shipping chain or strap.



Shipping Check Valve Kit Installation

Installation of the shipping check valve kit will

prevent the planter from becoming unbalanced

during loading, unloading, and trailer transport.
The shipping check valve kit will need to be installed

on the outer left-and-right side hydraulic lift cylinders

located on the center frame.
A new kit may be ordered from any Great Plains

dealer.

The planter should already be folded for transport

and have the provisioned shipping chain or strap

installed.

With IntelliAg ISO6

Frame Damage Risk

Do not raise/lower the wing gauge wheels at

any time once the shipping chain has been

installed. Do not attempt to unfold the planter

while the shipping chain in installed. While the

shipping chain is installed the planter lift

hydraulic system should only be operated as

“Center” or “Center Lift” or planter frame

damage can occur.

To install a check valve:

1. If installed, remove cylinder locks and stow in

storage position.

2. With your in-cab console, tap the Fold Sequence

softkey from the Home screen.

3. Tap the Center Lift softkey to set the center Lift

hydraulic system to active. This is indicated by
