layout drawings for correct equipment placement
1)
Remove packaging carefully so as not to damage the paint finish
2)
Unlock & Remove the door
3)
Carefully place the gate in the correct position and mark 4 mounting holes on the concrete
4)
Carefully remove the gate and drill holes suitable for 3/8” x 4” lag bolts.

when installing
6)

and connector terminals and techniques used must be done according to standard electrical
codes or statues. Particular attention must be paid to proper grounding. Low voltage circuits
are class 1 and should be installed accordingly.

Limit cam adjustment may be necessary to level the barrier arm in the field. Loosen the wing
nut that keeps the cam in place and move the cam forward or backwards slightly to level the
arm properly. Fully re-tighten the cams with the wing nuts when finished.
11)
For the vertical up position of the barrier arm,
do not adjust with the UP limit cam
. Loosen
the 2 nuts found on the connecting rod which has one left hand and one right hand eye bolt
at the top and the bottom of the rod. At the center of the Rod is a flat point. Use a ½” open
end wrench to turn the connecting rod either left or right until the vertical position of the
arm is correct. Fully tighten the 2 nuts, each one against an eye bolt.
12)
For barrier arms longer than 14ft, the internal counter balance spring may require a slight
adjustment in order to balance the arm for a smooth open, close operation of the arm. This
only applies to newly installed gates
13)
The gear reducer has a pin in the breather plug that is there for transport only so that oil
does not leak out. This pin must be removed when the gate is to go into operation.
