Some channels are skipped over
when using CH
The skipped channels were deleted
with the Add/Delete feature.

Picture or sound of broadcasting
channel is weak or missing.
Antenna or cables are loose.
Tighten connections or replace cable.
Wrong TV Signal is selected in the
DVD RVCR Setup menu.
See “TV Signal” on page 29.
Camcorder image via AV input or
DV IN to DVD RVCR is
not shown on TV screen.
Camcorder is off.
Turn camcorder on and operate
properly.
DVD RVCR’s input is not set
to AV1-Front, AV2-Rear, S-Video, or DV.
Press INPUT to select the correct
input.
Can’t play disc recorded on this
DVD RVCR on another
DVD player.
The DVD+R disc was not finalized.
Finalize the disc; see page 45.
Some players will not play even a
finalized disc.
No solution.
Cannot record or did not record
successfully.
The remaining blank space on the
disc is insufficient.
Use another disc.
The source you are trying to record is
copy- protected.
You cannot record the source.
When setting the recording channel,
the channel is tuned to the TV’s own
tuner.
Select the channel on the DVD
RVCR’s built-in TV tuner.
Timer Recording does not work.
DVD RVCR is not set to the
correct time.

Timer has been programmed
incorrectly. TIMER indicator light does
not appear after programming timer.

Point the remote control at
the remote sensor of the DVD

The remote control is too far from the
DVD RVCR.
Operate the remote control within
10 ft (3 m).
There is an obstacle in the path of
the remote control and the DVD
RVCR.
Remove the obstacle.
The batteries in the remote control
are exhausted.
Replace the batteries with new ones.
