DVD RVCR User’s Guide
Video Output
Activates the Component Video or
Progressive Scan output to your TV.

Press SETUP.

Select System > Video Output.

Choose from the following:
Component
- Activates the Compo-
nent Video output.
Progressive
- Activates the Progres-
sive Scan output.
NOTE:
• Do NOT choose Progressive unless
you have connected the DVD
RVCR to a TV equipped with
a 480p Progressive Scan input.
• If you select Progressive accidentally,
press ENTER to cancel, or wait a few
seconds for the screen to revert to
normal. If there is still no picture, see
Troubleshooting on page 46.
Child Lock
Disables the front panel buttons.

Press SETUP.

Select System > Child Lock.

Turn Child Lock on or off.
• When Child Lock is on, all front pan-
el buttons are disabled. You must
use the remote control to operate
the DVD RVCR.
• To disable the Child Lock, select Off.
Panel Display
Sets the brightness of the front panel
display.

Press SETUP.

Select System > Panel Display.

Choose from the following.
System Settings
Auto Dim
– Dims between 10 PM and
6 AM.
On
– Always on.
Off
– Always off.
Sleep Timer
Sets the sleep timer.

Press SETUP.

Select System > Auto Sleep.

Set the timer from 30 to 120 minutes.
• The DVD RVCR will power
off automatically if it has been inac-
tive for the specified length of time.
• To disable the sleep timer, select Off.
RF Out Channel
Sets the RF Output Channel (the chan-
nel you set on your TV to view the DVD
RVCR).

Press SETUP.

Select System > RF Output.

Set the RF Output Channel to 3, 4, or
Off.
Factory Settings
Restores the DVD RVCR to its
original factory settings.

Press SETUP.

Select System > Default > Restore.
• The DVD RVCR will restart
with all menu settings restored to
their factory defaults.
