FST3.1VK type compatible overfill prevention device
Part no. 55 270 52
13 / 16
Carry out removal and installation quickly as follows:
•
: Loosen both screws , remove the plug with shrouded contact with protective cap .
•
: Remove the plug-in connections of the 2 feed lines from the bottom.
•
: Slowly unscrew the limit indicator sealing screw with a size 17 socket wrench in an
anti-clockwise direction. Take care to ensure that the two feed lines are not damaged.
When you loosen the sealing screw, a small amount of LPG will audibly escape.
After 12 to 13 revolutions you will see a mark in the form of a 1mm wide groove in
the sealing screw .
•
: The shut-off valve must have closed, further gas leakage is prevented.
If gas continues to audibly escape, then the limit indicator must quickly be
screwed back in with the sealing screw and tightened. The overfill prevention device must
then be replaced with the LPG tank in a non-pressurised and neutralised state.
•
If the shut-off valve has closed, then the limit indicator (sensor with probe tube)
can be screwed out again in an anti-clockwise direction using the sealing
screw and removed.
•
Only GOK limit indicators may be used for replacement.
•
If the limit indicator is replaced, make sure that you use a similar design with the
same dip length and, if necessary, the same marking. The dip length is marked as
a number in mm on the hexagon of the sealing screw.
•
Repeat in reverse to install a new limit indicator. Use a Ø 17/12 x 0.8mm sealing
ring in PA 6 order no. 55 227 03 for the sealing screw and tighten it with a
tightening torque of 5Nm. Then check the leak-tightness of the threaded
connection.
•
Slide the feed lines for the limit indicator to the connections marked with “+” and “–
”. The polarity is unimportant.
Safety pressure gauge and test connection
Replacement of the safety pressure gauge or the test connection may only be done
on a non-pressurised and neutralised LPG tank!
•
If the safety pressure gauge or test connection has to be replaced, do not exceed the
maximum tightening torque of 25Nm.
•
During replacement, the gasket should be replaced with a new copper gasket order
no. 53 045 00 for threaded connection G 1/4.
