OPERATION

Gas withdrawal valve
:
You can open or shut off gas supply to the attached pressure regulator by turning the
handwheel in the OPEN or CLOSED arrow direction.
Do not turn it to the stop!
Dip valve
The dip valve provides an additional filling level check after the tank has been filled. Open the
dip valve by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction – the escaping LPG should be gaseous.
Then close the dip valve again.
Overfill prevention device
Before starting to fill the tank, remove the protective cap from the plug with shrouded
contact by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction. Connect the overfill prevention device to the
plug on the road tanker’s overfill prevention. Upon release, fill the LPG tank. Upon completion
of filling, replace the cap on the connector.
Safety pressure gauge
The permitted operating pressure is marked with a red line on the scale.
Test connection
with sealing nut for leak testing
A test pressure gauge which can be used to measure the pressure during tank leak testing
can be connected to the test connection (pressure gauge connection with a sealing nut ).
The sealing nut and the shut-off device should be operated only in case of possible leak
testing. Otherwise, they should not be used.
Protective cap
Keep the protective cap of the plug with shrouded contact closed to protect the plug from
moisture and dirt. Exception: filling (see: overfill prevention device)
